In short: disappointed...
In full: i ran it slow, but was well within the allocated time after the first lap by about 5 minutes (as mentioned on their website/letter) - however, the mile markers were gone on my second lap and direction signs also! And where were the marshalls? Won't be doing this one again...

In short: well organised. beginner friendly 8 mile
In full: I am glad I made the effort to go to this race. We made a weekend of it and my partner spent a fortune in the shops! There was a good mix of runners and there was good support at the end for all finishers. I will definitely be back next year.

In short: Not a mug fan either...sorry...
In full: I normally like to wear my medal in bed after the big event... not going to happen with a mug! ;o)

However, great scenery, good organization and the fifth time I have done this race. In training for October Dublin marathon so a great last long run for me.

In short: Great day for a great run
In full: Good number of runners but not too many so as to make it crowded. The only bad thing is having to get up at 0430 to get there on time, but a small price to pay for a fun event.

In short: Ideal training for New York's marathon
In full: Shame on all those runners who like nothing better than to write and complain over the smallest of gripes! Kingston is a flat and scenic course that provides a challenge, and is also a good training opportunity for runners with a bigger goal in mind. Its better than running on your own, the goody bag does have goodies in, and the mug was accepted with gratitude. A big thanks also to the volunteers who were excellent.
