In short: Nice race but very disappointed that the Chip to Chip timing didnt work.
In full: Lovely race in nice surroundings.

However the failure of the chip to chip timing has really spoilt this for me. With Parkruns free and numerous, paid for 5Ks need to ensure that timings are 100% Bottleneck at start made chip to chip failure even worse.

A message on website explaining problem wouldnt have been much to ask.

Timing problems aside I did enjoy the race and marshalls were all very enthusiastic.

In short: Cake & fruit a nice touch but perceived problems with the results
In full: Always a well organised race but reviewing last years results I'm wondering what happened to the chip timing this year!

Also, the start is a bit of a bottleneck.

In short: Really enjoyable event.
In full: Start rather congested. As a FV65 I always start at back so didn't affect me! Super marshalls and crowd. Great support for back runners as well as those at front. Real shame there were not sufficient medals....only negative I can think of. Many thanks to Bedford Harriers for such an enjoyable event.

In short: Well organised, friendly event with PB potential.
In full: This is a really well organised event in very pleasant surroundings and the only gripe I have is the start, which does get very congested because of the narrowness of the footpath - something that is beyond the control of the organisers.
