In short: Not Bad(ford) by Halfs
In full: Lovely winding route, challenging and tarmac all the way for speedy foot purchase.
Fab marshalling, well organised, clear mile markers, can see why people have this as a staple part of their race diary.
Nice calendar too that I am now using at work.

In short: Excellent organisation and interesting course
In full: Huge credit to the marshalls, whenever I started to think how cold and wet I was, I reminded myself the marshalls were far worse off - and yet they were all smiling, cheerful and encouraging. Water station people excellent too. A lovely course with just enough hills to provide some variety without being too challenging. Good facilities at the school - short toilet queues and very efficient baggage people.
Can't believe there was no disaster on the M1 this year!

In short: parking a problem otherwise very good race hq
In full: The parking was a good trek with the obvious disadvantage of a field in the prevailing weather. Showers for that size race was a definite plus. Marshalling very good, HQ well organised with plenty of loos.

In short: Wind, rain, hills and don't forget the excellent bacon and sausage buns at the end.
In full: 4th time I've run this event and I'm sure the weather is getting worse each year. Very much a case of grit your teeth and get on with it. Which I did and achieved a course PB this year in spite of the horrendous weather conditions. Was very glad of that cup of tea at the end and bacon buttie and very tasty hotdog. Will be back next year for the food (might skip the hills)!
