In short: A fantastic challenge leaving you with a great sense of achievement In full: The weather this year created the most challenging conditions. The organisation and the facilities were superb. Car parking could have been an issue on Sunday but was sensibly switched to the tarmac area. Although I am a club runner, the support from other club and non club runners was very good, it would be difficult to find a friendlier event. The camaraderie between those who completed all 3 races was superb. Looking forward to 2013. Date of review: June 27, 2012

In short: Great value and family fun for all at a well organised and generous event. In full: I wasn't there as a runner due to an injury so I was helping out at the finish area. It was great to see everybody come across the finish line totally plastered in mud and soaked from the waist down, and that's only if they hadn't managed to take a tumble somewhere on course. Many exhausted but smiling faces, plenty of light hearted banter and course stories being exchanged all demonstrate that the competitors must have had a good event. Colworth Striders have this event superbly organised and there is plenty for the non runners to do as well. Good camping area although a little damp (it was bound to be), fair bar prices and excellent beer, good food available all weekend. Hopefully I can run in this event next year so I will have to buy some trail shoes! Date of review: June 26, 2012

In short: Excellent event. 11 and not out! In full: A race that no runner should miss. The organisers made every effort to ensure runners knew the courses were muddy this year. Incredibly well organised event with good beer in the bar for after! Date of review: June 26, 2012

In short: It's reminded me why I love running. In full: This years event (my third full event) was the hardest ever because of the wet/muddy conditions as others people have commented. However strangely this made the weekend even more fun, extra challenging and immensely rewarding. I have never seen so many smiling faces with runners swapping stories at the end of a race - it will live in the memory for many of us for years to come. To complete the event took skill and determination. Events like this are about racing the course and conditions, not simply the distance. The organisation was as slick as ever and given the recent weather (which everyone must be aware of), to be able to safely put on 3 consecutive events with no more than a few scraped knees was incredible. Did I mention free camping, hot showers, as much free ice tea as you can drink and a mini-beer festival? Date of review: June 26, 2012

In short: I did the 5 miles...it took me exactly the same number of minutes as years of age I have...no, I'm not telling! It was my first 'multi terrain' race and I have never before seen or slithered around in so much MUD! But it was fun and challenging! Date of review: June 26, 2012

In short: This was my sixth Colworth challenge and I'll be back again next year! Well organised, friendly with free camping and a great little clubhouse on site. TOP weekend!! In full: The clubhouse provided hot showers, light bites from the local WI after every race and a great selection of beers if you fancied treating yourself. Despite the torrential rain on Saturday night, the organisers and marshalls were brilliant on a soggy Sunday, ensuring you were aware of any dangerous bits on the course. It's a trail series so you should come into this expecting mud :-) Date of review: June 26, 2012

Very much enjoyed the Friday night 5 miler as always, camped Friday night and watched the Saturday trail run. A family friendly weekend with free camping, cheap drinks and friendly marshals. I'll be back! Date of review: June 25, 2012
