In short: Good track, would've been better without the wind.
In full: I'm a local so this was a nice race to do. My first half-marathon so a bit hard to compare with other races but I was certainly pleased with the event. Parking was a breeze, organizers were cheery, and the sun shone.

In short: Brilliant organisation but an average course.
In full: PB potential on a calm day but battling that stiff breeze out to the 6 mile point was hard work. Marshals on every turn and a great set up at the finish but I must say that I thought the finish a tad dangerous; busy road crossing and lots of kerbs - isn't there another route back to the club?

In full: This was my first half-marathon and felt it was very well organised. I was aiming for 2 hours and came in at 2 hours 6 mins which I was pleased with. Will definitely run this next year.

In short: excellent
In full: Very well organised event, all marshalls clapped and supported throughout the race, car parking was easy and the attendents where very helpful and happy, my wife and daughter waited at the rugby club for me and were impressed with the organisation as well and are happy for me to do next year, all in all well done to everyone, other events can learn from this.

In short: a homely well organized top day out.
In full: this was my first half marathon, and it was a great day out. despite the outward bravado, inside i was a teeny bit anxious which soon all dissapered when we got there. there were marshals and officials everywhere from the car park to the water stations and stood on pretty much every 500 metres on the race - which i really liked. the marshals were cheering and clapping the whole way round which i liked especially after 10.5 miles when i started to feel a bit tired! it was on a nice flat route with only a few hills and even though there was some serious runners there i didnt once feel like the medium novice that i am! it was a really friendly, smily atmosphere - no doubt helped along by the light breeze and glorious sunshine! i crossed the line in 2hrs 20m, i was aiming for under 2h 30 m, so i was well happy! at the end of the taped area was a lovely marshall who said in a slow voice "go and get your bottle of water and race t-shirt" and practically placed me in the right area, i had sort of lost a bit of brain function after 13.1 miles so i was glad she knew who she was dealing with!
overall, a fantastic day!
