In short: Great event. Narrow track at beginning.
In full: Being a local race, this is the second time I have run it, this time with a PB. Having said that this track makes hard work for a PB - not becuase of the terrain (which is mostly gentle), but because the track for the first half of the race is narrow (which makes overtaking difficult unless you are near the front). Having said that the scenery is great, the atmosphere has a great local feel and I'll definately be back for the third year on the trot next year.

In short: An enjoyable scenic race as long as you can pass on the narrow tracks.
In full: A very enjoyable race that I'd recommend. As long as you can start near the front you can post a respectable time, but the track around the golf course gets too narrow for passing in places, notably on the inclines (where people were walking after 3km). Otherwise, highly recommended- the last km through the park is one of the nicest I've run.

In short: 2nd time completing the course. A well organised race, managed a PB! A reasonable goodie bag and medal, but a shame about the lack of toilets at the start . Well marshalled and good crowd support.
