In short: my first 10k last year and still came back for more this year!
In full: the hill wasn't half as daunting this year and I ran all the way this time round (which I would hope so too after 12 months more experience and miles in my legs!!!) Once again brilliantly organised and lots of encouragement from everyone. Another 'dodgy' coloured t shirt at the end but well earned. Thank god no hailstones at the end like last year! The stones in the quarry were a bit troublesome but after a couple of recent trail races they were manageable. The grassy bit before horrible - very up and down and rutty with no chance to really make up some pace until getting back on the tarmac. But other than that, a perfect multi terrain race to get to grips with this running lark!!!

In short: notice a lot of twisted ankles due to either bobbly soil and very rocky

In short: Hot, hilly and fun
In full: I've done the Cancer Research 10ks at Grimsthorpe before, but never this one. I need to practice my hills, but apart from that, a good run. Will be back.
