In short: Great atmosphere for families, only spoiled by lack of toilet facilities. Very enthusiastic helpers, the kids loved it.

In short: My two children loved this race but had mixed experiences. Ben (10 yerars sped off and was delighted to finish the two lap route in the top thirty. Jude (six years) fell on two occasions but recovered to finish in the middle somewhere.
In full: It was a lovely day if a little windy but the families loved participating in the event. It was very child friendly and a good way of introducing young children to racing and fundraising.

In short: A great family outing
In full: Did this primarily to set a course time for 3k for the first time, and clocked myself in at 14.55. This is a non-timed event however, but that is not important. Much more important to have some fun and help disadvantaged children. An undulating route on a hot day, within the very scenic Preston Park in Brighton, home to several marathon training runs! Very friendly event, fun for all the family.
