In full: If you only have one marathon in your legs, make sure you run this one. Ran my first London back in 1985, 23 years on it still has a special feeling to it.

In short: I've completed this race twice now and at the end of both races I swore never to do it again (this year 07 was a struggle due to the heat). Now I'm waiting for the application form to arrive again!!!!

In short: Over hyped - crowded all the way - not really a race unless you are up front - more of a colorful carnival - great for charity entrants - though if you really want to run a marathon - this is not it unless you are at front end
