In short: Very well organised event and interesting course. One I'd definitely do again. Presentations took an age to begin, everyone had gone home.

In short: Not a PB race but a nice mix of on and off road
In full: I ran this race today and was a bit nervous as it's only small (c200 runners on average) and I saw that it was quite hilly with a mix of off-road. So glad I swallowed my nerves and competed though. I really enjoyed it but it was definitely tougher than others I've done (which have been mainly flat tarmac path races). Not a PB but only two mintes off so am pretty happy with that and the marshalls and race organisers were all very friendly. Plus you get a mug for finishing instead of the normal medal so was a very good feeling to have a cup of tea in it later that afternoon!

In short: Hilly in places, starts on road but mostly run through grassland and old railway trailway.

In short: Friendly, local race.
In full: Never really going to be a PB course with the inclines and off-road sections but nice to get off the tarmac for a while. Only gripe was the lack of toilets- there was a 20 minute queue 25 mins before the race- doesn't give much time for a warm up!

In short: Second time on this race with a slight (better) change of finish. Varied route, including the hideous Holland Way and a down hill finish, which is always good. A well organised run with a very friendly atmopshere from all involved - thanks to all
In full: It was an incredibly hot day so was very pleased with result. Would happily recommend participation.

In short: Lovely scenery, interesting course, and hot
In full: Good race, well organised at the start and well marshalled and supported around the course. Lots of water and pieces of orange at the end, and a nice mug. It was a boiling day, and the only niggle (same as last year by the looks of it) was that there was only one water stop. I took my own water bottle, but would have been gasping otherwise.

All in all a really good race though - thanks to the organisers.
