In short: great. fun, food, friendly,
In full: Really enjoyable, just as I had thought . It's a pity there was not an O55 ladies, as I would have one it. perhaps ladies of that age are not expected to join in?

In short: Nice scenic race, but very tough. Hills not too severe, but the uneven footing made the race seem much harder. Not my surface, except for the last 1.5K -2K on blessed road! Glad I did it, but don't know if I'll be back.

In short: My first duathlon...was Ok! :-)
In full: I'm probably not the best person to ask about this, as I developed knee pain after the cycle, didnt train hard enough, and managed to come last....even so I got a nice clap and cheer as I finished (DId someone whisper 'Thank Gawd! We can finally pack up and go home!'
Well organised, seemed to go smoothly, could perhaps of done with some more signage on the longer roads??

In short: Well organised race on a great course; highly recommended.
In full: I was expecting more than the 100-odd hardy souls that turned up for this duathlon. The cross-country sections were a good change from running on the road but I found the wind on the last third of the bike section rather tough with no-one to chase. Overall it was very enjoyable, beginner friendly and good prep for a marathon next month; the enthusiastic marshalling kept you going right to the finish.
