In short: Great race in great location
In full: Ideal as the 3 laps enabled you to pace yourself and also for the family to cheer/laugh as you pass. Well organised, though it would be perfect if the roads were closed to kamikaze drivers. I knocked 2.30 off my PB and recorded my first ever sub 50 min 10k, which made me well chuffed. Definitely do it again.

In short: Fantastic race, great organising club, will be back again
In full: 2nd year run and I knocked a minute off of last year's time (this years race was my 2nd best lifetime 10k PB and this years best 10k PB), great course, well marshalled, I feel I need to become a member of Southampton Running Club if their races are this well organised. Definately will be back again next year. I forgot to mention the memento, a mug last year a towel this year it certainly makes a positive change to the finishers medals that so many other race organisers give.

In short: hot and humid,great scenery
In full: This was my first race for 18 years, and as it was local thought worth a look.The unusually sunny weather made it quite warm,and tough going at times.My only complaints would be the start was a little tight, especially going up throuh the woods on the first lap,which made it difficult to pass slower runners,so get a starting position near the front if your faster paced.However, once things had opened out after lap one it was an enjoyable, and suprisingly challenging 10km.My only beef was the course time clock was moved away from the start after lap one, which caused me pacing problems later in race.Will run again next year.

In short: This is becoming a real fave of mine
In full: Nice scenic course well organised. chance for family to see you 3 or four times. This year the weather was really special. Very supportive marshalls. Nice towel makes a good change from the mug

In short: Excellent organisation. Ideal family day out
In full: excellent organisation. Didn't mind going around 3 times as it meant family were more involved rather than just waiting for me to finish. Ideal for a picnic afterwards. Great for all types of runners. Good encouragement from marshalls and spectators. Should have been a quick course with PB potential but I seemed to be running backwards this week! Overall a very enjoyable race.

In short: 3 Flat laps, a fairly quick course very hot this year.
In full: Lovely setting and a beautiful day for the people watching. 3 laps were a little repetitive, but not too bad. This year I found it very hot, and was wondering if a 10:00 start would have helped. Well organised and marshalled. I would run this again. Well done to all those from Southampton running club for putting on a lovely little race.
