In short: Found the course uninspiring but marshalls were great - very encouragingg
In full: First time over this distance for a while so struggled a bit but organisation was great, plenty of water in the right places and good marshalling and it must be the first race I've been to where I actually heard the pre race instructions at the start. Nice medal and goody bag at the end making it worth the journey.

In short: Welwyn "industrial estate" city - worlds most boring race?
In full: Very boring run through industrial estates and subways, and to make it worse, you have to do two laps of it. Fairly flat but the endless subway tunnels mean lots of short downhill and then uphill sections which interupts your pace. The "spot the mile marker" game was interesting but I think most of us lost, I only spotted a few of them. Well marshalled and decent water stations but the sheer boredom of the course makes this race one to avoid.

In short: well organised, but boring scenery
In full: I also missed the 1 and 7 mile markers. The gate at end of field at beginning was a bottleneck, and the course was rather twisty and narrow at places. But the marshalls were excellent and everyone very welcoming.

In short: Agree with most of what has been said.
In full: It isn't the prettiest of routes and very twisty and turny - I'm sure there must be nicer routes around WGC. That said, the race was exceptionally well organised with great marshal support and plenty of water.

In short: Well organised and Marshalled
In full: Thanks to all the marshalls out there they were very good. The first lap round I saw the second lap mile markers, and guess what the second lap round I saw the first lap mile makers, in other words they were not well displayed. I think it is time to think of a new route to utilise the scenary that is available around this area rather than the industrail and housing estates. Still enjoyable though though as it is well organised and friendly.

In short: A challenging warm race
In full: Its a shame that the gate out of the field wasnt bigger, as some people round me tripped over people in front, as they had come to a complete stop, to queue to get out of the field.

A good challenging around the garden city, I didnt realise there was so many hills on the course.

Although, I didnt see mile marker 1 or 7 and only just saw mile 2 marker at the last minute, as it had turned round on the branch it was on. Perharps the mile markers could be put in more visible spots for the runners

In short: Well organised race with good potential to run a good time
In full: My first 10 miler in a long time and hard work with the turns, mild inclines and warm weather. The course is dull in places but the marshalls were great, organisation good and fellow runners very friendly. Congrats to Peter who dragged me around and beat me by several seconds.
