In short: Tough underfoot but great to know your supporting a great charity
In full: The course is i'd say 80% off road so this was tough going. A cheeky hill at about half way. No k markers which made it frustraing. A medal, drink of water and a kitkat greeted you at the end. Race results were displayed straight away with lots of prizes given; up to 3rd place in each age category were awarded. Local radio were there, bouncy castle for kids, plenty of toilets and parking making it a good and enjoyable run!

In short: Fantastic trail race and fun run in a fantastic setting. Take the family and a picnic and make a day of it! Only thing that needs improving is the very, very poor km markers. Other than that - perfect!

In short: Great mixed terrein 10k
In full: Great mixed terrain 10k, first time i've raced off road since school cross country!
The distance markers could do with being larger/clearer though, I only saw one! Made it difficult to know how long was left.
1 water station at halway (i think!!)

Overall a great race, and will be back next year!

In short: Lovely location and great atmosphere.
In full: My first 10K and I was not disappointed, atmosphere was great and although the course was not flat the hills were nothing to worry about. The pleasant weather meant that the off-road sections were dry. Marshalls were very helpful and encouraging.

In short: Great but!
In full: Super organiseation on the day small race aprox 400 with big race feel( radio york live broadcast, inflatable start , tented village).
To improve needs clock on the line and where are the results!
Also in a race for charity ditch the cotton tee shirts and keep the money.

In short: Lovely course on a very pleasant day and for a good cause
In full: A nice route/location but a bit hard on the lower legs! Should have hitched a ride on the llama that was so interested in everybody! Good atmosphere and well organised
