In short: Great weekend again - thank you!
In full: The weather was not so kind as last year, but still enjoyed the weekend. I just wish I was that bit faster so that I could catch the kites feeding at the end!

In short: A great weekend of running. Thankyou to organisers!
In full: Very well organised, very friendly, great value, challenging courses in absolutely terrific scenery. Almost had to stop at times to say 'Wow' at the scenery. Highly recommended.

In short: A murderous race for a fat 1st timer like me!
In full: Hey, Leslie, I hate to disagree with you but I was definitely last on the first race - I was so last that you were probably showered and off home by the time I got in! Needless to say I didn’t take part in the 18 miler!!! I did this race without realising just how hard the hills would be...going up and down - I still have black toenails from the clattering descents and have never done anything so tough in my life! The event though was great, the scenery was truely amazing (on the high points you can look back at where you have been in disbelief) and the finish with the Red Kites, for me was fantastic! I keep seeing those hills in my sleep...Never again!

In short: Absolutely fantastic weekend - will be back next year
In full: First time I have done this weekend - but it will not be the last. I loved it. I did the double and was last each time, but so pleased that I completed it. Thanks to everyone involved.

In short: WOW!
In full: Great race in great landscape. Loved the hills, very well organised, with plenty of drink and feed stations and no way of getting lost! Great finish too, with the red kites circling over your head :-).

In short: A fantastically hard trail race in the most amazing scenery
In full: This really was superb. The course was really challenging (read horrendously hilly!!) the views were exceptional and the organisation immaculate. Markers and distances were faultless and the marshalls and their well stocked buffet tables were the best i have ever come across. this is a must do race

In short: Tough trail course in beautiful surroundings
In full: To come from running mostly on treadmills to running a course as tough as this was a shock to the system BUT what an absolutely fantastic race. Beautiful surroundings, slick organisation (except the prize ceremony!) and a good standard of runners in the field.

I have a lot to learn about trail running (kamakaze style slope decents would be a great skill to learn!) but it's made me want more.

There is no doubt this is a tough course (the race was two days ago and I can still barely walk) but it is really worth the trip.

Nice to have a selection of free food (namely Mars bars and cakes) at the end to help people like me who'd literally run themselves to collapse!

In short: Hardest 11+ miles I have ever done but with some of the best views and freshest air you could hope for.
In full: WOW, tough covers it but is not a word to do some of the climbs here justice. Ok, I'm not a trail runner but I do like my hills and these were good. Scenery is Wales so it was beautiful. Marshalling was excellent as was the course marking. Well done to everyone who took part.
I only have one critical comment and that was the prize giving, I have done a lot of races and this was the slowest worst organised "ceremony" I have every waited for. Lots of people stayed for a while but by the time it started many were cold and fed up and more had left. Come on guys don't let a fantastic race be ruined by a badly run end.
I don't want to finish with that bad comment so let me say I am not put off by this one minus point and next year Rach and I plan to do both races and enjoy the local area a little more. FANTASTIC !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
