In short: Did it last year, done it this year and i will do it again next year.
In full: Just one of this local events that a runner can't miss, very flat, very fast, quick 10k. Nice view of the river on the way back to the stands. Nice medal at the end and back to town straight after for a coffee. See you next year, cheers!

In short: Remember to bring your England Athletics card
In full: Never carried my card with my registration number on. This is the only race that i have been made to pay the extra £2 because i didn't know my number.
i have carried my card ever since but have not been asked for it.

In short: it's the fast course that people turn up for not the beauty but it's pleasant enough, could do with some sort of energy drink / bar at the end at least!

In short: Another good Pitchcroft run
In full: Have been 6 years on the trot now, so know what to expect, and that is a well organised run, with a good mix of runners.
It's not the most glamorous run, but it's flat, not too over-crowded, and you always know exactly how far you have left to go!
3 run pasts for spectators, and ample free parking make this a good local run.

In short: good flat race .well organised
In full: This is a good race for someone chasing a Pb .Perfect conditions .The 3 lap circuit is a little boring and once te race settles down there is hardly any overtaking ,probably due to the very flat circuit .I think that with a little extra thought from the organisers that this this could become a much bigger event .Not great for the spectators as no catering available which seems strange given that all the spectators are in the same place for the whole race. A very good race ,will do again next year .

In short: Another good Pitchcroft 10k
In full: Conditions were good, with just a bit of a breeze in the home straight each lap.
Another change of medal, and everything else was as smooth as usual.
See you in 2011...
