In short: Wonderful views, start was a shambles
In full: This has to be a must if you like wonderful scenery to look at.

The pre race briefing however was a complete farce for those of us at the back as we did not have a clue what was being said. A mega phone might help

No idea where the start "line" actually was meant to be

But the friendly greeting at the end made up for all of this and so did the support from the specatators; especially the ones with the hoses.

Would definately do again and it should be on everyone's half marathon agenda

In short: Wow, would definately do this one again. A little too warm this year, the views are fantastic, organisation smooth. A smaller field than I expected, but I think this will change as runners get to know of it. Well worth the trip.

In short: Woo Hoo! What a race, whatr a place, back next year to run it properly
In full: Wow! Breathtaking scenery, reasonably flat course, great touches like the water stations increased to every two miles and some locals out with the garden hoses, presentations done nicely at the finish, nice solid attractive medal and ribbon(but no mention of the island race, missed opportunity) and quality T-shirt on a bargain entry fee. Alpen bars and fruit juice at the finish and some sponsors health tablets. Easy to travel too and cheap in advance. Journey back in time to a place where life is good, the food is good nad relax with an atmospher that welcomes beginners to good runners. Winner circa 1.16 reflecte dheat of the day, but gossh, this will be a calendar event and one I wopuld recommend again and again and again. It will be an all time favourite.
