In short: fast flat course
In full: fast and flat. I actually beat my pb by a minute but beacause there was no chip timing the official time was 2 second outside my best.

In short: Flat 10K through parkland and housing estates.
In full: Flat as a pancake through parkland and housing estates makes this a pretty quick course but with lots of sharp turns doesn't make for a PB time.
Organisation was good but we arrived early and couldn't find the registration! But that's my only grip, so well done Warrington Road Runners on putting on a good event with increased numbers due to the race being included in the Cheshire Road Series Grand Prix.

In short: Race Director comments
In full: I am the Race Director for this 10k.I am pleased that there are so many nice positive comments about the course,I tried to heed last year's comments on the need for a water station, and look what happened-the last 2 yrs it has been about 80f this year it rained-hard!oh well I can't do anything about that except give you all a brollie to run with (ha ha).Brad we did expect more runners(before the rain came)and I instructed the funnel to give them out to every 5 but when we got less entrants they were instructed to give them out to every few finishers so it may have seemed that a lot got them but we never had enough for everyone from the start as they were spot prizes etc.Hope that helps
Thanks

In short: Overall, what a good race.
In full: Good mix of scenary which included residential with the park, though the route is a bit twisty-turny at times I managed a P.B. Well organised with friendly marshals, friendly atmosphere, nice mug & goodybag at the end.I`ll be back for the next one hopefully.

In short: Nice race but one small gripe
In full: An enjoyable race although i ran out of energy but i and a number of others were excluded from recieving the goody bag. I was told these were for every 5th person but the 3 people just ahead of me and probably 75% of the field received one. A bit petty i know but it left a sour taste.

Otherwise a very nice well marshalled race.

In short: fast course makes for good race.
In full: maybe a few too many tight corners to be a true pb course and the grass finish cost me a few seconds, it still is a nice fast course, and a nice mug and goody bag at the end.

deffo recommend this race.

In short: Beginner-friendly race well organised.
In full: This was not one of my favourite races! The start was crowded, and even at the front, there seemed to be some need to try and get past slow runners who started too near the front.
Warrington RR cannot be held responsible for the hot weather which certainly made the race very difficult for those looking for a time.
The event itself was a good friendly one, well suited to inexperienced runners as the marshalling was good.
I think some other subscribers are making more of the issue over a drink staion than is necessary. I don't believe in them for a 10K.
Personnally, I found too many twists and turns on the course generally, and the finish was a nightmare on the grass, particularly as the 400M to go sign came too early. That finish was a lot more than that!

In short: Great race on a lovely evening!
In full: Thoroughly enjoyed this one. A lovely course through the park. I always enjoy 2 lap courses because its good for the spectators to see us all twice!

It was a lovely evening. Maybe a bit warm for a 10k race, however. The organisers probably weren't expecting this as there was no water station during the race. I heard a few people dropped out because of this.

Very well organised - no problems. Marshals were great, very friendly and supportive.

The mug at the end was a nice little treat. Makes a difference to the pile of T-shirts I've got stacked up!

Only other thing was the start. The path seemed quite narrow so it was difficult to get running, probably for the first 750m or so. Might have been better if the start and finish were both spread out on the field.

Definately at least as good as the PLS 10k on Sunday! Thanks Warrington Road Runners.
