In short: Really well organised, Friendly people, good cause - great way to spend Sunday
In full: First time running this event so wasnt sure what to expect. Lovely rural village. Great facilities for a smallish event. Very well organised registration, hardly any queues.
Good atmosphere, its great that so many children are taking part. Route well marshalled, two water stops, and only one major incline - enjoyed it. Great bacon roll afterwards!! They posted the results whilst I was still there!
Will be back next year.

In short: An interesting course in a good location with excellent facilities.
In full: First time I have run this race but I will certainly do it again. The hills are quite tough but at least they are out of the way quite early on so that the final few kilometres seem to fly by. Organisation was very good although some help with parking would have been good. Also there were 4 marshalls on one corner but nobody at one junction where runners could have gone either way.

In short: Loved it
In full: I have only been running since June this year and have only ran Race for Life so this was a real challenge for me but i loved it. I only found out about it the night before so it was a spur of the moment decision to do this race.I was a bit worried i may come in last but managed it in i think 55 mins so was well pleased.I grew up in the Chalke Valley so knew how tough those hills were going to be,But knowing others are behind you keeps you going and not want to get overtaken!
The weather was just right for running, the marshals very encouraging....(i knew most of them but not seen them for quite a while!)
I can't wait to run it again next year. : )

In short: As rural as it gets actually, and the "off-road"section was actually a typically muddy farm lane!
In full: A lovely village green run, full of smiling faces, slightly uppitty downitty but nothing too grotesque. If this had been my first 10K I'd have been hooked. Unexpected and VERY nice T-shirt at the finish, plus a goody bag that puts some bigger races to shame.

In short: Well supported, and well organised. Top event!
In full: Thought this would be a doddle (first time on this course) but has wiped me out for the rest of the day! Very well run, and nice to see the local support out despite the drizzle. Need to be better prepared for those hills next year!

In short: Lovely fast paced race with a range of abilities
In full: Although it was a bit of a nightmate to find as i was not local to the area. However once there everything else was perfect. Lovely atmosphere and was really nice to see so many kids competing in the 3k fun run. Will be back next year. Well raced everyone.
