In short: Charming
In full: Hot and hard in places (the first 4miles lulled me into thinking it would be quite straightforward)...but the finish on Devizes' Green - where there was a small dog-show, children playing and families enjoying the day - made it all worthwhile and left me with an internal 'glow' that has yet to disappear.

In short: Hotter than any previous KK I've run, but the organisation and welcome as good as ever.
In full: It was a very warm day, which I'm sure affected some of the times. The race was as well-organised and welcoming as ever. Everyone seemed to enjoy the event - despite the heat, which felt particularly tough on the long canal bank incline. The rural route was splendid - the English countryside at its best. I'll be back next year.

In short: Very well organised race. Being new to running I did struggle due to the heat. Friendly locals with hose pipes and water pistols to cool us down helped with that.

In short: 5k beginner friendly
In full: Another well organised event. Informally efficient,, no fuss but no stone left unturned by the organisers. the finish area on the green made for a very pleasant experience. Course was well marshalled and 'arrowed' and the start at the wharf is, in my opinion better than the previous town centre start. May try the 10miler next year!!

In short: 5K: Easy to do well
In full: I was first impressed by the organisation, myself and my partner were a few minutes late so a very kind water marshal gave us a lift down to the start on her way. The race itself was pretty (nice views of the canal barges) and only consisted of one hill about half way round. The route was well signposted with plenty of cheering from the marshals as you passed them which would keep even the most inexperienced runner going all topped of with a nice narna at the end. Definately do it again.
