In full: This was my first sefton park 5 mile race, the race started and it was sunny, then 4 minutes in to the race the heaven's opened and i have never seen rain like it before it didnt stop us runners having a good laugh has we ran through the treacherous weather, a big thank you to the organisers and special thanks to the marshalls who gave us all plenty of encouragment and support through out the race.

In full: Well organised and the marshals were brilliant. I really felt for them standing in the torrential rain but they were very friendly and encouraging. Everywhere was flooded but the marshals were quick to advise what and where to avoid. The conditions enough to test both runner and Marshal but each came through with flying colours. After all the recent hot weather it was great to run in such wet and testing conditions. Well done to to Mossley Hill Running Club for their excellent organisation.
Fitness permitting see you next year

In short: Good race
In full: Although I have never been able to run fast on that course (the rain didn't help this year), I have enjoyed that race. Ir is a good/solid 5 miler and I like Sefton Park.

In short: Thunder - lightning - very, very frightening!
In full: Great race in torrential rain, love running in this type of weather so I may have enjoyed it more than most. Well organised, well marshalled.

The marshals all around the course were absolutely excellent, encouraging and helpful despite the terrible conditions. Most had sensibly dressed for the occasion and were great in pointing out any problem areas on the course due to the weather conditions.

Well done to everyone that took part, great effort by all considering the weather. Mug made a nice memento.

In short: Good race. Atrocious weather.
In full: Nice park setting and well organised. Great race. Good to get a mug as a memento rathe than the usual t-shirt. The torrential rain made it interesting. And i mean torrential. Most of the race in this weather. Rivers of water, huge puddles, waterlogged terrain. I guess you could look at it as a negative, but i just think it makes it more memorable.

In short: Well organised race over a nice course, with a monsoon thrown in for free..
In full: Really enjoyed the course, with plenty of space for everyone to run in. Marshalls did a great job of directing people around some of the obstacles. Particularly enjoyed the paddling pool towards the end.

In full: Friendly but fast race. Great marshalls who were very encouraging and a great mug instead of tee shirt at the finish.
