In short: Poor organisation
In full: I ran the Flitwick 10k last year. Two things really annoyed me, for which I am still awaiting a response from the organisers.
1. They spelt my name completely wrong on the results.
2. The chip timing was gun to finish, so after pulling out a sprint finish to take two runners (and the official photo's on the line showing I was in front) I was extremely dissapointed to see that the chip timing had them in front of me.

In full: Had a great day and really enjoyed the run, unusally hot and the sponges were a great touch! See you next year.

In short: very well organised race, through attractive countryside
In full: it was a bit hot for this early in the year, but organisers cannot be blamed for the weather. It was not traffic-free, but well marshalled and no trouble at all with traffic. Not very hilly - so an excellent run, well worth doing regularly!

In short: Nice course, well organised and marshalled
In full: Nice course, good facilities and reasonably well organised ... only gripe for me was that there weren't quite enough people at the water and sponge stations, especially given that the weather was so hot. Ok, it didn't help that I was just behind a group and the person in front of me grabbed every cup available and threw them over his head, though it was still pretty disappointing and meant the heat got to me pretty badly by the end.

In short: A nice challenging route
In full: Great route along some lovely country lanes, the marshalls were very supportive and what a good idea the sponges were bearing in mind how unusually warm it was for the time of year. This is my first Flitwick 10K and I would certainly put this on my race calendar for next year.

In short: Excellent race from Ampthill & Flitwick Flyers
In full: Hot and hilly as hell. Great organisation from the Flyers. Thanks to the fella on his bike who was very encouraging as he passed me and I passed him. Friendly fellow runners made hellish conditions a little more bearable. Thanks to the guy on the PA who wished me a happy anniversary and to the locals for turning out to support us (including my mum and dad!)
