In short: A challenging one
In full: I made the mistake of having a go at this when having not run up a slope worthy of the name for nearly 3 months......so was in pieces after the first mile. In fact most of first 1½ miles is uphill, then the drop down Primrose Hill is very steep. Fortunately the hill everyone talks about (just after the 3 mile marker) wasn't as long a climb as I anticipated - but bad enough.
I'll be back for this one next year - in better shape.

In short: excellent cos my first time there, my first 5mile race =pb, read the info re hills and enjoy
In full: I regularly /weekly run a hilly 5mile as a training run, today was v enjoyable, aiming for low 40smins, or under 40, finished in 39:18 =well pleased. I did talk to others about the hills before the race, and studies the race info, also as we crossed the A55 northwards, returning southwards led to a few 100mtr steep bit, then another few 100mtrs less steep- then a nice downhill to finish. Well done aberegele. Rob in Mold.

In short: Good well organised race on a tough course
In full: Organisation was spot on. The course was hard and I think the RW description of undulating is rather conservative. It has got some steep ascents and some very rapid descents.
