In short: Hilly
In full: Enjoyed this race although it had more hills than I thought there would be. Didn't take my free beer but did have 2 apples instead!

In short: A fairly challenging but worthwhile race
In full: A fairly challenging but worthwhile race. Despite the wind and a wee bit of rain this year courtesy of hurricane Nadine, it was, and always is a good race. Tough in parts with a welcome descent to the finish. Beers, cakes and apples to come back to. Always a nice atmosphere at this one. Can't believe I almost got a PB here. Managed to win some wine as well. Great stuff! Thanks 'Nice Work' and people of Beckley.

In short: Rain and Hills!
In full: I'd forgotten how undulating this course was. No killer hills but no flat bits either. Despite the relentless rain throughout, a really nice atmosphere and well marshalled out on the roads. Complimentary cake and beer very welcome and a nice touch, other races could take note.

In short: My first 10k, now I'm hooked!
In full: Talked into this by my brother who is a seasoned runner, so he, me, my other brother and both their wives all did the race. Great atmosphere, very well organised, beer and cake brilliant, scenery wonderful, marshals cheery and times up on the board immediately. Since then I have done another 10k a 10 mile and signed up for a marathon in October! You've got a lot to answer for Bruv!

In full: A really good village race. Some challenging hills throughout. Quite a few people got PBs here this year though. Thanks to those who make and provide the cakes—delicious!. Beers were a nice touch too. Well done Nice Work and the people of Beckley.

In short: A fantastic, well organised race. A brilliant run to get you started in the new year!
In full: Amazing!! I got a PB on this run as it was fast and flat. Very friendly and welcoming to non club runners!
A nice route which was fairly scenic, country lanes and fields!!
I would definately recommend this run to anyone, runners, joggers and newbies to running.

Cant wait to do it all again next year!
