In short: Course a little dull - but a good race.
In full: Didn't even think I would be running this race as my race entry didn't get to the race secretary until the day before. He rang me the same day to say I could pick up my race number on the day. I am glad I did. It was a very well organised race. I have only one critisism (and it is very small). The course was a little bit on the dull side - run through housing estates. (although the amount of residents that came out to cheer on the runnners was brilliant!) It was great to finish a race and have a shower not to mention a hot one! Two runners even went back to shake my husband and son's hand to thank them for their support in the closing stages of the race! At the end of the race, one of the officials gave me an extra goody bag for my son.

In short: A good low key 10k
In full: The course was altered from last year and it was better. Less twists and turns and some pretty good sections of slightly down hill straights.
A small field meant that even the slow runners like me were over the start line almost imediately. A really nice start and finish on a springy Tartan track. The marshals were pleasant and there was a very nice goody bag. The morning was a bit cool and miserable but ideal for running.
I managed a PB and have no complaints.

In short: A flat, 2 lap course. Quite a few corners to go round, but worth the effort.

In short: A well organised, friendly race. Might be improved with less running around housing estates! Great finish on track!
