In short: A great event!
In full: Thanks to Tring running club for a very special well organised event every year. A tough course with some notable climbs and the reward is some excellent scenery in full autumn colours through Ashridge Forest along the historic Ridgeway path.
Thanks and keep it going folks!

In short: Absolutely fantastic race with excellent marshalls and support !!
In full: Can someone please explain why we pay for Police in our Council Tax but they choose not to Police road closures on fast roads.
Hertfordshire Police should be ashamed of themselves.
That said, the marshalls at road crossings were fantastic.
Theres even a bar at the finish.

In short: Well worth it!
In full: Near perfect conditions on the day (just a little mud) and big thanks to the organisers & marshals who made this a great run! It was my first run here and in a way it was better not to know what was coming - especially the last set of hills & the long lane back towards the finish. I felt like I had run a race afterwards! Enjoyable scenery & special ambience.

In short: Rather brutal course - even the down hill bits
In full: I now remember why I hadn't run this race since 2001 - but was 6 mins faster despite tripping up. Seemed a little short of marshalls in places but those that were there were very good (odd exception).

In short: wonderful route, great organisation and a groovy T-shirt
In full: How did the marshalls manage to offer encouragement, clap, direct runners and stop the traffic all at once? Absolutely seamless race with smiles from everyone!

In short: Lovely run with excellent organisation in picturesque surroundings. Hills were not too bad but testing enough and the downhilll made up for it.

In short: I love it!
In full: Many thanks to Tring Running Club for such a wonderful event. A lovely day, fantastic scenery and great organisation. Marshalls seemed to be popping out all over the place on were gratefully on hand to give runners direction in the woods where the route was not so clear.

I have never heard such a buzz and chatter at the finishing area of happy punters all saying how great the course was and how much they had enjoyed it.

To top it all I ran 12 minutes quicker than last year. I've been smiling all week! Sign me up for next year.
