In short: Beautiful run with cheeky hills thrown in. Good fun.
In full: A very scenic route. well organised with three appropriately placed water stops. Marshallers were friendly and got a well deserved Easter egg at the end... always a bonus! I'd read the reviews beforehand which mentioned the hovis hill (gold hill) but this course did not go via that. Unsure as to whether previous people had reviewed against the wrong race or if the course route had been changed. Either way, it was a very pleasant Sunday morning!

In short: Wow thats what you call a hilly course!
In full: Well was told the day before the race that Gold Hill was the "Hovis hill" from the TV ads so I knew it was going to be tough and it certainly was!
Some of the other hills on the course seemed to be even steeper though so you have to be pretty fit to take this one on.
Although only 9.5k, I was over 4mins slower than my best 10k time.
Lovely atmosphere and friendly race :)

In short: A tough 10k....ish
In full: A good tough very undulating run with a couple of tough climbs thrown in. Well supported at various points. Well marshalled especially at road crossing points. Add 5 mins to your 10k flat time

In short: Toughest 10k I hope I ever run!
In full: Well organised - nice memento, great scenery but hilly beyond belief. Lots of people had to walk up the hills towards the end. Don't think I'll do it again unless I've lost 20kgs!

In short: Beautiful views, shame about the mountain climbing in between ;)
In full: Really a beautiful part of Dorset, but you certainly have to work for the privilage of looking at it! Nicely organised and very enjoyable, thanks Trotters!

In short: tough but fair!
In full: After reading alot of reviews i was getting worried about this one. Golds Hill came up very quickly (within the 1st mile) so we were pretty fresh and getting up there wasn't as hard as i expected, not to say it was easy though! It flattened out at the top then miles 2&3 were predominantly down hill, we knew we would pay for that! It wasn't long till we did pay - from then on every corner we turned seemed to present us with an up hill steep enough to make you say 'oh dear' or words to that effect! On reflection i think the amount of ups and downs were about even (if that makes sense?). Beautiful Dorset, once again didn't disappoint. Definately do it again.
