In short: PB of 41.26, fantastic race once again.
In full: Good course, good organisation, enjoyed the 3k with my Wife and Children (2 and 4) before the 10k. Good T shirt and goody bag.
And annother PB this year, will be back again next year without a doubt.

In short: A great 10k - well done The Boro!
In full: My family really enjoyed the atmosphere and entertainment! Especially the music and BBC Tees - their goody bag excellent! Arrived in good time as car parks shutting at 9am, so saw Red Devils who were great, would have preferred the 10K to be done first as it was quite sunny and warm by the time we got off and there was some hanging about waiting, also this may enable the car parks and roads to open up earlier - didn't enjoy sitting in the car for an age to get away and do some shopping! Overall this was a most enjoyable run, not my best as I have a head cold - better next time ..perhaps?? Excellent goody bag - t.shirt, medal, key fob and MARS BAR!!!!

In short: great day for the runners but not for spectators
In full: My first 10k race, good route to run and well organised BUT i do have a few issues.
car parks closed far to early.
The red devils happened also far to early as 3/4 of the people still hadn't arrived.
I am sure this is common with all events, you submit your estimated run time when you sign up, and you then line up in that time slot, the number of people who i passed at the start who should have been further back in the queue was amazing.
This makes it harder for people to get past and to run at their race speed.

In short: A great way to spend a sunday morning
In full: Middlesbrough shows it can organise a decent race and this is a 10K worth doing. Only gripe is that the wheelchair race started only minutes before everyone else so some of the wheelchair athletes were caught in the first couple of miles on the slight incline and then they struggled to pass the runners when the downhill sections started. It mst have been dispiriting for them.

In short: Great 10K. plus best race day toilets I've ever seen. Well done M'bro couoncil!!
In full: Very well organised, great 3k fun run before hand which my son ran, and next year I'll be running the 3k with my youngest son too as well as the 10K. Excellent for all of the family. Even an elite men's 1 mile race before the main event too. (unfortunately I missed the Red Devils parachute in before hand, but have been reliably informed that they too were amazing!)... Oh yes and the toilets were of an exceptional standard.
