In short: Great scenery, great route, great organisation
In full: Quite a challenging, undulating route through the beautiful Suffolk countryside. Nice refreshments at the end. Great prizes. Well-organised. Very friendly. Plenty of parking. No complaints. All in all, an excellent race.

In short: Nice event, definitely one for all standards of runner from novice to elite
In full: Well organised event very friendly and certainly one id do again. Good to see this race back in the calender, being one of the first races i done its nice to get back. Course is not really that bad, a bit of an uphill drag at the start and finish and a few undulations during the 10 mile course to keep you honest. Great idea to have a 20 on the same day as well, starting half hour beforehand, so the 10 mile finishers can cheer on the 20 milers coming home.

In short: A great race in the February sunshine!
In full: A great race, well organised, lovely scenery too. A very enjoyable run around the country lanes, helped by the sunshine, plenty of hilly bits but none too challenging. Will definitely run this one again!

In short: Great local race, scenic with plenty of character
In full: The race is rather small and has a community feel to it. Organisation is good; would be nice to close the roads completely, but there was not much traffic. Two water station is perhaps not quite enough for 10 miles; having said that, I did not make use of either of those :-)
There are hills. Lots of. Nothing dramatic, but they keep coming at you. The loop is cunningly set to have an uphill section from the start and also leading to the finish; be prepared.
The views are magnificent throughout, taking in Gedding Hall as well as lots of countryside. This was helped by the weather, truly magnificent warm sunny day in February.
HQ at the school is usually a great idea; facilities were 1st class (showers, toilets, changing room). Home-made post race refreshments were wonderful.
Not much in the goodies department, but this is not whay we run, right? And with the entry fee as low as it was, getting a nice t-shirt and great organisation for a day out is certainly a bargain. Will do it again if it's run next year!

In short: Great race spoiled by a hopeless finishing funnel!
In full: The finish funnel was way too short for the number of runners. There was a lot of standing around in the funnel to wait for a tee shirt which caused a log jam. Just as well it wasnt cold

In short: Suffolk has hills?!
In full: I have completed this race twice and i have to say it is a very entertaining race to participate in. A word of caution though, attack the hills and always rember that what goes up must come down. Ps, there is chance for a "sprint" finish at the end!

In short: Very nice race through the Suffolk countryside
In full: This is a really nice, friendly race. A few hills but plenty of downhills as well. Excellent long sleeve tee shirt as a momento. Big thank you to the organisers and marshalls for a great race Will be back next year.
