In short: Welcoming Wimborne!
In full: Lots of nice touches from the town cryer and starting gun (well rather load guns!!) to the morris dancers and band at just over half way and cakes at the finish made this a great way to start a Sunday. Great organisation, friendly marshalls and fellow runners. If you can make this a date in your diary do!

In short: One of my favourite Dorset races
In full: Quite literally something for everyone.

Very supportive marshalls who cheer on and guide runners by their names where they know them - difficult to acknowledge in full flow so giving the recognition here instead.

In short: Great race, really enjoyed it.
In full: Bit congested at the start but everyone soon spreads out. Nice route with tough last mile that was well marshalled and led to a fantastic selection of home made cakes once you'd crossed the finish line. Would recommend this race to newcomers and experienced club runners alike.

In short: Great race that raised money for charity
In full: I really enjoyed this race. It was well organised with a very relaxed atmosphere. Loved the band at the half way point and the hill at the end was a killer after 9 miles. The best bit is that it was a charitable race.

In short: Great race, exceedingly well organised with very special touches!
In full: I loved this race. We were given warning (by the town crier) that 3 guns would start the race. This didn't stop us all leaping 10 feet in the air when they did!
A good steady race with a very uplifting band at the 7 mile mark and a sole fiddler to help you up the last hill!
Gorgeous cakes at the end. Will definitely be back next year!

In short: So well organised. The walk to the start and back helps you meet people.
In full: This race is so well organised. The guns being fired at the start is a nice touch. A tough field because so many club runners take part but that can rub off on the rest of us. Lovely tea and cakes at the end and very friendly helpers and marshalls.
