In short: All races should be like this! (Apart from the hills)
In full: My second time on this course, so I expected the hills (but they still hurt).

Once again...flawless organisation, exemplary marshalls and overall this is a great example of how a race should be.
Be even better without all those damn hills though.

In short: Hard work but worth it
In full: As my first half marathon I have nothing to compare this to but undulating was the understatement of the century this race was just plain hilly. I loved the mug at the end rather than the medal. With hind-sight it was a great run and very enjoyable but on the day those hills were killers. Race marshalls were very encouraging and helpful.

In short: Hilly plus headwind first half, undulating plus tailwind second half
In full: Every bit as good as the old Dover half. This race makes you work hard.

Very well organised by Deal Tri.

In short: A lovely course with great scenery and although the hills were hard work it wasn't too difficult. It was very well organised but could have done with more than water at the drinks stands. A very enjoyable morning. s

In short: challenging course but well organised race
In full: Very well organised with good marshalling tyvm Deal Tri. Just one question when does an undulating course become a hilly one? because in my book that course is definitely hilly! I am a big fan of pragmatic momento's so i liked the mug (and it made a great valentine's day prezzie for the missus the next day so it was dual purpose).

In short: Very hilly, but enjoyable
In full: Second time I've done the Deal Half-Marathon enjoyed it both times, and certainly going back for more next year! Certainly not one for getting your PB in my opinion, instead being a race that makes you work for every mile marker.

Didn't have any problems other than for 2 drivers blocking the route somewhere around the 8-9 mile marker for a moment, enougth time for another runner and I to have to take a 'bumpy' route.

Still as I say bring on Deal Half-Marathon 2012.

In short: Great race, great route and great organisation.
In full: Hillier than I had expected but great scenery, plenty of water stations and well marshalled throughout. Will definately be back again for what is a bargain and well organised event.

In short: hilly course faced with strong wind for first half, but extremely well marshalled & organised (Pity a mug rather than a medal)
