In short: Very good, fast first half, think pb is on at halfway point!!!
In full: BUT - tough second half where the hills are. However very good race , well organised. Well done to all the marshalls and water stations for making a very wet day enjoyable.

In short: Such organisation: how DID they time the rain to start 2 minutes before the race began?
In full: It must have been cold and miserable for the marshalls and drinks station folk but thanks all of you for sticking it out. Also a big thank you to all the school kids on drink station duty - you're a credit to the school. Some of you called out our numbers to encourage us, which was a great idea.

In short: Freezing February, challenging hills but friendly marshalls and atmosphere.
In full: This was my first half marathon race so it had to be a PB! However, the hills were a challenge especially with most of them towards the end of the race. The sort of race you really feel as though you've achieved something at the end of it. The weather was creul, sleet and rain through out. Great fun though and a definate for next year. The marshalls were so supportive and encouraging; thank you.

In short: England in February is never going to be the best weather - but a bit less rain/wind would have been more palatable.

In short: Wet, cold, windy, wonderful
In full: Superb fun, despite the wind coming in off the sea, carrying sheeting rain and the hills being concentrated in the last 3 miles.

How the marshalls and spectators stayed so cheery is beyond me, but they did, oh, and Runners' worldite in the yellow top? I'll get you next time, but thanks for the hurryup
