In short: Soggy but happy :)
In full: Enjoyable race, good to know course by 3rd lap and know where to push it/ease up etc, but if the scenery could be changed for the 3rd lap to help stop the tedium setting in, that would be perfect! Wet, but not too miserable once you got going. I thought it was a bit pricey seeing as it's a set up course that needs minimal marshalling. Payment machine on car park not working. Darn ;)

In short: Better in the rain!
In full: The second of three races - now looking forward to the final one. Made the mistake of dogging the footsteps of a 10K runner! Made the last lap more interesting!

In full: Will not be beaten for scenery. Great race if you're in it to win it or just complete it.

In short: execelent location ,very well organised well worth the trip to the forest, nice medal if your in to that - shame about the parking charge but hey thats life !
In full: Organisation of this series is very professional ( on the day like clockwork )any questions/queries were delt with by return e-mail.Very friendly marshalls which always helps. This course is well worth the visit not too steep a gradient ( but long )however well worth preparing for. My negative split was a personal bonus !

In short: Really good race - if you enjoy forest trails you should do it!
In full: Good atmosphere from all here - good range of abilities too. The forest trail is well balanced with a gradual incline at the start then declining over the last half of the first lap. Then repeat 3 times if you are doing the 15.4k as I did!
Runners were very friendly and it was nice to have that 'feel good' factor on one of the smaller races. Excellent value for money - £7 and you get a tasty medal! Good scenery, friendly marshalls and fresh air running at its best. Will be back later in the year to do the 3 race series! Smashing lovely great!!
