In short: A good race
In full: A good race - friendly marshalling and fellow runners. Nice medal, but poor quality T-shirt and goody bag.

In short: Fantastic event - a wonderful experience. A shame if it is the last time the event is heldd
In full: I am probably biased as I managed to knock 25 mins off my personal best but I thought it was a wonderful event - well done to the organisers. Tremendous support from the marshalls and most of the spectators - some of the holidaymakers were oblivious to the marathon taking place alongside them but you can't expect everybody at a seaside resort to be interested in a running event. Weather was kind, plenty of water stations and overall a really friendly atmosphere. I would hope to see it held again but if not fingers crossed Fleetwood is as good.

In full: Even though I have said I would do this race again I realise it is the laast one of its kind on this course, which is a great shame. I would welcome the opportunity to run a similar distance race on the west coast, Thanks for the memories.

In short: Sun, sea and lots of running. Got a good tan.
In full: This was my fourth marathon and the first time I have done a smaller event. I should have found it easier than I did - phew those last few miles were a slog or at least I presume they were as I can't remember much. Thank you to the man at the last water station who filled my bottle and ran to catch me up, and also thank you to the medical staff at the finish who caught me when I fell and bought me back to the land of the living.

In short: My very first marathon and a bit disappointed
In full: While I can't fault the atmosphere and the support during the race I think the organisation was a real let down. I could cope without chip timing but to have 20ps ready in my pocket.. I asked one marshall at the 16mileish mark where the loos were and i go blanked. Thankfully one pointed me to a solarium where i relieved myself.

The fact the race number didnt come till late either wouldnt have been a problem if everything that was advertised on the site was actually going to be part of the race.

Like I said though i cant fault the support or the atmosphere. The route was no where near as boring and flat as i thought a 2 lap jolly round the prom would be either especially along the lower part of the prom past the lucozade station.

In full: Weather Good For Us despite Windy althrough its settle down later with pure time at 9am near Hilton Hotel with speeding flat roads and well done Ron and his team with CRACKING day with Prilent Medal and last Ever T-Shirt.But The Council think twice again.Because I think its good value of money and it should be thinking again I Hope?
