In short: Enjoyable
In full: This was the second time I have done this, and both times it's rained. Still that didn't spoil the enjoyment, It's a nice run with some up and down sections, but they don't seem too bad, and there is a lovely downhill finish which made even me feel like Usain Bolt! People with iPods need to watch out as there some sections on road (with traffic) with no pavement, and it would be *really* good to get an early water station. There are a couple of spots that one could be fitted in i think

In short: Good course, good organisation, generous goody bag
In full: Have done this course many times as it is quite local for me. The course is undulating but good times are possible. Organisation is always good and the goody bag is generous with mug, t-shirt and more. Atmosphere is good with live band at start/finish. I always try to fit this race into my schedule

In short: As ever, it was a well organised race
In full: Chip timing, T-shirt, mug, banana, AND a Mars bar! Sadly, I wasn't offered a choice of size for the T-shirt, so I ended up with one I can't wear. I agree that the bottleneck at the start was dis-appointing. However, overall it's an enjoyable race that I'll always do if I can.

In short: Well done for the excellent organisation!!
In full: Rain did not dampen the spirits of the 600 or so runners taking part. The band under the bridge played us off and greeted us again on our return. Big thanks to the superb marshalls who gave lots of encouragement and support standing in the rain. Great goody bag for the 25th anniversary added to the event. I will be back again next year.

In short: overall good, but pricey and slightly under distance
In full: The race distance is short of 9 miles, probably 500 metres and the parking of race support vehicles 30 metres after the start meant the bulk of runners were immediately slowed to a walk as the road width start abruptly narrowed, otherwise very well organised race and venue( 4 minute jog from home!!)
