In short: Very friendly race, only one bad hill!!
In full: Stockport Harriers are a friendly lot. Marshals were great.
Most of the route is on the roads of Stockport, though there's a nice bit where you go off road through a farm.
Only one bad hill really, that goes on for ages! I managed a PB by 5 mins, so it can't have been that hilly!
Decent long sleeved tech t-shirt.

In full: Good road run, great marshalls, friendly welcoming atmosphere and a gravy bone in the goody bag!(the posh tee shirt was good too). What more could you ask for. An excellent race, really enjoyed it.

In full: This is a great race with superb organisation and marshalling. Although not the most scenic the hills and variety make it really enjoyable and the start and finish on the track is brilliant.

Ten miles is a really good distance for experienced runners or anyone who's trying to step up from 10 or even 5k and the time of year makes it well worth training for and then enjoying a well earned rest over xmas.

In short: I heart the Stockport 10
In full: My second time at Stockport (and this year travelling from Cardiff!) - lovely atmosphere and banter for us Lady Vets bringing up the rear. Not the easiest course but not a killer either.

As others have said, technical tee is worth entry fee alone and LOVE the design this year - brilliant and really different.

Oh and still BEST. MARSHALS. EVER.

In short: Tough but very well orgainsed event
In full: Not done this for 3 years but glad to knock 3 mins off my previous time. A well marshalled course. Bit slippy today but overall one of the best run events around. Goody bag is as crazy as ever and the long sleeved tech shirt is excellent quality. Great design of course on the front, it's like a magic treadmill
