In short: Long uphills and short downhills. Next year improve atmosphere a bit MD!
In full: Gave up on the Park and Ride, could we not park on the park as it were. Discouraged us from bringing support thus dull at start and in particular finish. Please could we have simple medal at the finish most of us have more than enough bottles! Friendly enough, marshalls good, but where were the MD folks at the end? Not very encouaging Muscular Dystrophy! Don't want you to spend money but a bit of noise at the finish would be nice. Organisation was fine and officials along the route did a good job. Hell of a lot seemed uphill, long drag at the start and hill at 7 was a killer. Be back next year but improve atmosphere a bit MD!

In short: Great race - Shame about the medal
In full: Completed the race even through suffering from the dreaded Man-Flu. Not as hilly as the Dartford 10 but the killer hill at 7.5m was a challenge. Paperwork had a medal as the momento, so was very disappointed with another water bottle. Glad I didn't do the 20

In short: First time doing the Bury 10, enjoyed it.
In full: I'd heard about the hills, the one from miles 3-4 was tough going but the one from 7-8 was a killer - never ending! However, having done the Dartford 10 5 weeks ago these weren't as bad as those.

What happened to the medal though? You want more to show for it than just a drinks bottle.

In short: Enjoyed it but where was the medal?
In full: Enjoyed this - the race was well populated with different abilities, the shuttle bus worked well and the atmosphere at the start was good. The hilss weren't too bad but certainly let you know they were there! Only gripe is all paperwork said medal ... and we got a drinks bottle instead.

In short: Good fun and weather held up
In full: We had a small group, some expected it to be more through the city, but I thoroughly enjoyed the scenic countryside and the staff were excellent.

In short: Nice race that pushes when you go up the hill at 7 miles. 1st mile is on narrow roads so it is difficult to overtake. I would run it again.
