In short: Nice mid-week race
In full: First time at RP 10k and was warned about the hill on numerous occasions, so when i encountered it at 7k it was a bit of a let down as it's hardly the north face of the Eiger!!!
That said, due to it being a very warm, humid evening it still knoocked me sideways!
Well organised but start was a bit hit and miss... no warning before the gun?
Other than this minor grip, thanks RPAC.

In short: A good mid week race
In full: I enjoyed myself. Nice park to run in with what seemed to be a friendly crowd. Mild irritation at the start of the race as I couldn't hear what was being said but I don't think I missed anything. Reasonable medal at the end.
As for the race itself, you start in the park but quickly head out onto roads and lanes. Marshalls did a great job looking after the racers and the traffic so thank you!
I only remember one hill of note. The last km is back in the park and a good last stretch to use up the last of your energy.

In short: Thank you Reigate
In full: Our Improvers group who used this event for their 'graduation' had a ball. We love that we are made to feel really welcome and supported here. The marshals were fab. Organisation is great. The start/finish in priory park suitable and convenient and the route is lovely. Thank you and see you next year

In short: Not bad, not spectacular, just average
In full: A nice weekday evening 10k over a pleasant, challenging route. They've put all the tough hills in the second half of the race then topped it off with a nasty final km on some undulating trails through the park. That makes for a good challenge but stuffs up your PB chances. The organisation was fine. Not the best I've ever seen but it all happened without any problems... except for a slightly chaotic start. Let us shuffle forward to the start line before firing the gun please.

In short: Hard, Hot and Hilly!
In full: Oh I do love this 10k, but it’s not an easy race! This popular and successful surrey 10k race will really test your fitness. There are about 2 hills round about 4 kilometres and 7 kilometres. Then there was that dreaded 9 kilometres through some dark, dingy woods.

Runners,by doing this race it can give you an idea of how fit you are. This year I decided not to push my luck by running too fast, so I decided to go with the flow. I must admit that the 7k hill was tough and took a lot of victims. I decided to run every step of the way, but it was a sad and pathetic effort. Going downhill was almost as painful.

What I like about this race is that you get to see the same old runners every year. Yes I am one of those enthusiastic runners.

My time was not great but I’m just glad it’s all over. Well done Reigate Priory AC you certainly do know how to organise races. The medal is very cute; it put a big massive smile on my face. It was a reminder of the first race I ever ran :=)

Well done to all and regards to St. John Ambulance.
