In short: Even loved the small hill at 8k! Beat my (10 year old) pb by 3 seconds and finished in top 150 (just!). Will be back next year. Great race.

In short: Middling sort of run
In full: Well marshalled, but could have done without the cars - the 'keep to the left' instruction semed to be ignored by many and I was often left on my own by obeying this instruction... which meant many confused drivers. Chap at the start (rather crowded for the number of runners) wasn't the most charismatic chap but overall everything was functional, if lacking a certain 'je ne sais quoi'.

In short: Difficult but picturesque course
In full: Surprised that there were no electronic timing system - something I'm now very used to.
Course was uphill a lot of the way with a killer hill kms 7-8/8.5ish.
Very enjoyable race though, well organised with everything running very smoothly. Nice countryside course and lovely start and finish in the park. Best of all it finishes near lots of pubs for a carb-loaded recovery beer!

In short: Challenging one-off summer evening 10k
In full: Be prepared for the last km in the park over grass and uneven ground. Although the roads were not closed to traffic it was not an issue as the roads were really quiet.
Nice to have drinks at the start, and biscuits at the end!
Lovely setting for the start/finish.
