In short: Enjoyed the run, made more fun following overnight rain. Good friendly marshalls. Finish needs to be kept clear of supporters wandering about!

In short: First ever 10k for me! Enjoyed the mud.
In full: Nice route mainly a muddy trail which added to the fun.Friendly set up, good for first timers like myself.Enjoyed dodging the horses, squeezing through a gate on the 7k mark and then contending with not only a hill finish (not the biggest) but avioding most of the finishers heading back down the hill with their medals (they all cheered me on!.

In short: Friendly race with a nice course
In full: Friendly race with a nice well marshalled course with mixed tarmac and forest paths. A bit muddy in places but that just adds to the fun!
Couple of very minor niggles which can be easily rectified for next year and didn't really detract from a fun race,
The funnelling through the gateway immediately after the start, which caused the run to come to a standstill, could easily be avoided by making the start line / area the same width as the gate with a couple of bits of tape. I also agree with previous comments about too many folk wandering around in the finish area / last part of the course and the absence of any water at the finish.

In short: Nice event would benefit from a clock! Well marshalled and two water stops well spaced. Felt sorry for later finishers as they were running into a stream of people leaving. This is a good event and it has potential to be even better,
