In short: loved it! husbands 1st run and we did very well despite the steep hill near the end - a great route will definitely do again!

In short: Very pleasant event, short and sweet!
In full: My 2nd year at this event, managed a PB despite a lingering cold!

Very pleasant run, mostly downhill for 4 miles then a sharp hill - definite PB potential if you can save something for that ascent!

Good turn-out for this event, nice to see some first-timers taking part. Decent t-shirt at the end is preferable to a medal and good thinking holding it the week before London this year - allows those of us preparing for the big day to use it as our last hard run of training!

Look forward to next year.

In short: Well organised race run through quite scenic countryside roads.
In full: Very fast course despite a sharp hill at 4 miles. The first 3 miles are almost exclusively downhill, overall it seems to be more downhill than up! Great weather for it as well! Will be back.

In short: Pleasant run in nice countryside
In full: A warm day and the first race I have run where they hand out cups rather than bottles of water - not much makes it into your mouth!
A nice route along roads I have driven loads of times. The only problem was the skittish horse at about 4 miles which looked set to give someone a good kick but my group made it past safely (it took my mind off the hill so it wasn't all bad).

In short: Enjoyable race.
In full: My second attempt at this one and will be back for a 3rd. More toilets could be useful, but you get that problem everywhere. That hill at the end didnt seem as bad this year as it did last year, but I guess thats because I knew it was coming.

In short: Too hot and then the hill!
In full: A nice race and a glorious day, maybe a little too warm! especially for the last up hill mile.
A good turn out but not much support (except from the marshalls) around the course.
Thank you to organisers and marshalls.

In short: Nice race good facilities at the start
In full: Second time entered well worth the money with a good tee shirt as momento
I was being paced by a loose horse in the road just before the hill would have loved to jump on its back at that point, thanks to the cyclist who took him off me ( well he had no choice really !!!!
