In short: A little gem
In full: If you get this course on a cool still day, you want shooting if you don't manage a PB.

My only gripe is that the results could do with the club names printed alongside that of the runner.

In short: Thoroughly enjoyable race, with excellent organisation and facilities
In full: If you are new to running or seeking to improve your PB, this is the race for you. Beautifully flat course and attractive scenery. Excellent organisation and facilities. I ran this race last year (with little proper training) and thought it was a PB course. This year I knocked well over a minute over my best 10K time. Hopefully, this will be a fixture in my racing calendar.

In short: A fabulous race - I took a minute off my PB!!!
In full: A really great race, well organised and - thanks to an Easter Bunny, Easter egg hunt and 2K run for under 15s - a great day out for all the family! Car park, Registration, baggage, marshalling, water stations all fabulous and lots of friendly people available to help and ask questions. Well done all at Asthma UK!

In short: Well organised event at a splendid venue suitable for PB
In full: This is a great open race where given perfect conditions anything can be achieved. This year there was no wind and temperature was about right for a fast run. Doubling back on the course helped you forget this was in effect a two lap race. Free running all the way helped me to a seasons best for 10K and what with a good run at Maidenhead the day before has set me up psychologically for the London in two weeks time. Will be back next year. Increased visibility in the running press should attract a bigger field.

In short: Flat course and good atmosphere
In full: This is a nice race and deserves to be better known than it is. The course is flat and traffic-free and scenic enough. Must put in a word for the marshals who were criticised for lack of support last year and more than made up for it this time with lots of cheerful encouragement. There is a good atmosphere down the field with runners ready to encourage each other. It may be the benefit of a race where lots of people have a particular reason to run. I'll aim to be back next year.

In short: Very flat course around Eton College's nifty little boating lake that'll be in action come 2012
In full: This is an excellent last race before FLM which will get more popular if it keeps this venue and date. There were perfect conditions this year which always does wonders for how you feel about a race. A couple of organisational oddities: racing numbers on a bit of card, and initial results on the day suggested they hadn't started the clock from 00:00:00, perhaps part of it being in only its second year. Lots of car parking and toilets, though, and all very conveniently arranged at this dedicated sports venue on private land.
