In short: One for the brave In full: First track ultra but not short circuit multi-lap race. As usual Pam and her team created a fantastic event which went like clockwork. The lap counters did an outstanding job. The other competitors were brilliant. Date of review: April 11, 2010
In short: Different and fun! In full: I thought this was great. Not sure what to expect, and loved every minute of it. Everyone was so friendly, I never got bored. Nice memento and great goody bag which was unexpected. Thanks to all involved for giving us this new experience. Date of review: April 7, 2009
In short: Fantastic. In full: Well done to Pam and her team on an extraordinary race. Deserves more recognition and a larger field. This is a great introduction to ultras and track ultras in particular. I had a great race and have vowed to return ... in order to achieve a particular distance which just eluded me! In short: Well organised and for a good cause In full: This was more memorable, for me, for the build up. My luggage never got through T5 at Heathrow so I had to borrow kit (and shoes). Despite that, and the wind and rain, it went reasonably well. Of course, none of that was anything to do with the organisers/ helpers who were great. Although this was not my first ultra I could see this being a good intro for someone wanting to move beyond the marathon. Well done Pam. Date of review: March 31, 2008
In short: It's a track race. In full: Not a great view running around a track all day but good for getting the times you want. Lacked a little in the excitement front as the scoreboard was never really up to date. Largely well organised and friendly event. Date of review: April 3, 2007
In short: Good to see another well organised track ultra In full: First ultra on the new K2 track in Crawley. Events like these can only take place thanks to all the helpers - it was good to see that some runners had managed to bring lap recorders.Gloucester and Serpentine running clubs had no runners - provided a lot of race support. Also the K2 track manager + Brooks.
