In short: PB potential here
In full: Took 3 minutes off my PB doing this race. Might have been more had there been less wind. But certainly one to do if you're a beginner. Very few hills and plenty of room to run

In short: Very windy, which didn't help PBs, and problems on the last k with people wandering round the path near the finish oblivious to those yet to finish, but enjoyable nonetheless, and would do again next year.

In short: My first race and the perfect place to start.
In full: True the paths are a bit narrow but the field spreads out nicely. Well marked kms, encouraging marshalls at many points on course. Easy to pace yourself and a friendly, encouraging crowd around the start/finish area. Loads of free parking nearby and lots of time to collect your number before hand - just try and stay clothed until just before then end as it's cold when blustery like Sunday. Also, dirt cheap!

In short: Paths bit narrow till initial "rush" clears. Mainly flat, small ups only
In full: Nice venue on Toon Moor. Gentle ups with nice down hill sections. Well marked kms, good parking nearby.
