In short: Special race, one of a kind.
In full: It's always going to be tough over 54 miles but I still enjoyed it. Thr traffic was a problem at times and Ditchling Beacon was a killer but overall it was great. I still have a warm glow a week later - or maybe that's the lactic still in my legs!

In short: Great route, fantastic if sparse support, excellent atmosphere.
In full: If you only do one ultra in the UK, do this one. Run over the classic London to Brighton route, with plenty of great scenery once out of London, it is an experience not to be missed. Great organisation too.

In short: Weather perfect, marshals fantastic, but most of I made it.
In full: My first ultra, spent the first 22 miles at the rear, which was a little worrying, but I kept my pace and mad it with time to spare. A small race but so well run and marshalled, I wish I could thank them all. There were lots of first time runners, and everyone did really well, with most runners supprisingly mobile afterwards.

In short: A great race. More people should try it.
In full: Anyone who can finish a marathon in reasonable comfort can do this. The race is a national treasure and deserves to be as well known as London M or GNR.

In short: The toughest race in the UK - a double marathon attracting around 150 (the same distance in South Africa has 14,000), BUT for a sense of achievement over the odds (being traffic, running a lot by your self, Nothing in the UK beats it !
