In short: I like!
In full: Of the 4 races I have done, this is now my fave. Low key, but with some real running talent to show us how it should be done. Friendly fellow runners. Neat long extension on the final lap prevents it getting too familiar. Acknowledgements to Broadlands Estate for use of their private grounds.

In short: Low key but quick
In full: Low key race in scenic Broadlands estate. Multiple laps of a flat course, good under foot and car-free so potential for pb.

In short: No expense spent!!!
In full: Organised well and really good enjoyable course (and I got a great time, for me) but let down by being clearly done on the cheap to make as much money as possible.

Medal not even engraved just a standard medal with a printed sticker in the middle, no good bag, not even a bottle of water at the finish just a cup of water.

Really good run but came away feeling let down by the lack of "Extras" Suppose that's what you get with company organised event rather than running club ones.

In full: 4th time for me for the race. Good organisation as ever. Personally I dont mind laps and it is all traffic free, plus your relatives get to see you lots due to the laps. I also loved being able to type your number in straight away at the end and get a print out of your result. A complete mix of abilities race wise. Will be back next year

In short: I preferred the old course but still a nice early year event.
In full: This is the 5th time I have done the Romsey 5 and the first on the new course. I always consider the Romsey 5 as a respectable first race of the year. Nothing special but the organisers do not let you down. I liked the old course but understand why it has changed. The new course is still quick and personally I like the laps. The reason I am not so keen is with a permanent dodgy ankle I was not so keen on the rough service section.

Saying that I am sure there will be a 6th time. Glad there was a medal. I am not so sure chipped timing is required. Personally I would rather save a couple of pound.

In short: PB opportunity
In full: Pancake flat and virtually wind free offers PB potential.I knocked 2 1/2 minutes off mine I found the race well-organised and friendly. It is a bit switchback in nature but a lot of plus points. Parking was good (i ordered a t shirt which is a proper training shirt not the usual cotton one wash and shrink rubbish.) Chip timing and result within 5 mins of finish was excellent.

Overall Id recommend for a decent sunday trot

In full: Second time at Broadlands for me, parking is fine there is plenty of it. I personally dont mind laps and your family/friends that have come to see you actually get to see you lots. Very quick if your after a PB, I liked that you could see yout time provisionally after the race, this was optional. will be back next year
