In short: Great organisation & lovely setting - definitely worth getting out of bed for!
In full: Nice flat & shady course, a spaced out field and road free from traffic made this a really enjoyable race experience (and a PB for me!) Friendly, supportive marshals and a gorgeous August morning made for a life-affirming running experience - will definitely do the next one!

In short: Great traffic free race, extremely friendly and smooth organisation!
In full: I was not feeling 100% but decided to run this anyway. I entered on the day, friendly reception. Nice route, several laps of Battersea Park, mostly in the shade and flat. Marshalls very encourageing and it was a nice touch that our halfway times were called out. Could have done with the odd km marker, as it stands we only got a halfway mark. Maybe just knowing how long exactly one lap is is enough...
Really enjoyed it, even though my race was affected by my stomach bug. Could be a PB course I reckon, as I only ran 1 1/2 minute slower than my PB and not 100%. A real runners race, well organised and friendly. Nice thing is that it is a series, so you can run more than one during the summer and see how you improve over the same course.

In short: Great start to a Saturday morning
In full: A nice small race with a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of drinks. Kilometre markers would be good though.

In short: Went out at a fair whip and got sick just after the first mile. I was the muppet taken away by an ambulance. Turns out I have been over training and have fractured a rib. At least my ticker is ok!
