In short: Great, if you like hills in your short runs
In full: I do, so it was great. What wasn't so brilliant - doing it the day after the Half Ironman at Rutland Water (Vitruvian). I'd deffo do this again if the timing was right as the country roads out of the city and up the back were a welcome change for a 10km road race.

In short: Enjoyable, fast & strings out quickly so not too many trips!
In full: I really enjoyed this one. A nice, 'community' feel - but well attended (almost 1000) event.
Early entry gets your name included on the souvenir t-shirt which i thought was a really good touch.
Organised well for what it is - a step up might bring chip timing but otherwise, use your watch :-)
Count me in for next year.

In short: Well organised event
In full: 5th time I have run this race so must have some good qualities!!! Well marshalled and supported on route, even the rural parts. It isn't flat and the one hill was a killer but overall a good challenging run. See you next year.

In short: Train for the Hill on the 7k mark
In full: I found this event extremely well organised, although quite painful in places, but no pain no gain !! Goody bag and T-Shirt well received, as well as excellent marshalls who cheer and clap you on at every opportunity.

In short: Good friendly atmosphere, good turn out.
In full: This was my first 10k and I have found it most enjoyable. The route was challenging in parts with rural settings. Everything seemed well organised and there was plenty of marshalls around the course to stop traffic etc. I will definetly be back next year.
