In short: Challenging but enjoyable
In full: Tiring on the legs as quite a few ups and downs, and moreorless all off-road. Pleasant scenary. Plenty of runners so not too lonely at the back for us plodders. Well run and friendly.

In short: Fun, challenging race
In full: A great way to spend a Saturday morning. Really good fun. Fantastic course, difficult to believe you are so close to the city on such a scenic peaceful route plus brilliant encouragement from the marshalls.

In short: Well organised and marshalled
In full: Trail race mainly through woods, uneven ground and undulating, one short "scramble". Well marked and marshalled. Even a bottle of beer instead of goody bag!

In short: my first trail race on home territory loved it
In full: What a beautiful run! I run these paths most weekends but the course introduced me to new paths and I was overwhelmed by the beauty of the sights en route eg running down that hill into Meanwood Park wow! Special. The marshalls were friendly and encouraging and cant wait for next year.

In short: First trial race I have done, really enjoyed it. Nice route and lots of very friendly marshalls
In full: Really enjoyed this race, wasn't sure what to expect as it was my first trial race and although it was a little harder than my usual road races it was great fun. Loads of really encouraging marshalls en route and a nice bottle of beer at the end. Well done to Valley Striders
