In short: Lovely Route, testing hills, great race.
In full: All in all very good indeed. The hills make it a challenging route. Excellent!

In short: Friendly race, well organised and v good vfm. Nice to have a mug as a souvenir instead of an over-sized t-shirt

In short: Great Event
In full: Absolutely love this event. There are a few hills but this doesn't detract from the course.

In short: One of my fav 10k's
In full: Yes we did have a little problem this year with some runners heading the wrong way due to a marshall not being in his allocated place at the start..but i'll be back next year and have run for many years....what about bringing the start time forward say 10.30 and this might avoid some of the congestion that can happen happen espec if the weather is good...espec around the single track bridge running adj to the river...just a thought :))

In short: Lovely scenic course but bad marshalling meant I ran 10.3k and others only 9.2k!
In full: Living in Bristol I have never been to Frenchay before and what a pleasent surprise. A lovely scenic route. 3 killer hills definitely mean it is not PB potential.
The main issue was that there was obviously a marshall missing from one junction where a number of runners turned left instead of going straight on. The marshall arrived just after I had turned left to shout to people they had gone the wrong way and to turn around. It was too late for the front runners.
Still I'll know for next time and a nice warm up run for the Bristol 10k at the end of May.

In short: Always a favourite but the climb to Frenchay Common always gets me! Impressed that organisers were full of apologies from the outset about the problem and explained what went wrong. i'll be back next time!

In short: Pleasant undulating course with a sting in it's tail!!!
In full: First attempt at this race, having heard a lot about 'the hills', actually they weren't too bad with some nice downhill sections too. Saying that, the last stretch up Blackberry Hill was not fun at all!

This is almost certainly not a 'PB' course but I did enjoy it and will be back!

In short: Oops
In full: As always a fun challenging race. Some steep hills but balanced out with some downhill and straight road sections to increase the pace.
My 3rd time and would of done a PB had it not been for a wrong turn with many other runners. Where was marshal?! Turned around when realised but was too late for some who carried on...

As a side note £15 feels a bit too much but then I suppose is comparable to other races. The lack of affiliated discount was disappointing.

Can the times be adjusted?!

In short: Loved it!
In full: Great local race, heard that first 20 runners ran the wrong way and therefore the course was short for them, which is a real shame for both runners and organisers. My garmin measured 6.27miles so accurate for me. Pleased with my time of 45mins. Lovely scenic route, which I thought was well marshalled, lots of support throughout, weather perfect! Obviously have to mention the hills, they were a real pleasure - NOT!! Found Frenchay Hill the worst, was glad of the water at the top! Will definately be back next year £12 is a total bargain for this race! Great to have a chip timing aswell - really hope the results get published!
